When I’m getting ready for work, I like to keep my makeup super simple. It’s Usually because I’m running late and don’t have time to really do what I want to do! However, I do like to look put together. My daily makeup routine for work takes all of ten minutes!

Wash My Face: I love the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser. It really wakes me up and gives me a fresh canvas to work with. Even though I don’t really have skin problems, some mornings I’ll wake up with super oily skin. This face wash gets rid of the excess oil without drying my face out.

Moisturize: With that being said, I moisturize my face before my skin really does dry out. I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer.

Concealer: If nothing else, I HAVE to conceal my under eye circles. I don’t want to give the appearance that I’m tired at work, I want to look awakeened and refreshed so I take my mini beauty blender and go in with the LA Girl Pro Concealer. Even though I have the Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer, I rarely use it for work because it’s so expensive. LA Girl gets the job done for a quarter of the price.

Powder: I set my concealer with the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder. I’ve been using this powder for years and it always gives me the look I’m going for without making my face appear too dry or powdery!

Eye Shadow: For Work, I’m usually using my Coastal Sense Neutral Pallete, only applying a light neutral on the lid, a copper color in the crease, and a brown color to blend.

Mascara: I use the Rimmel ScandalEyes Mascara. I’m usually skipping eyeliner for work, but this mascara is really thick and dark, adding some dimension to my eyes.

Chapstick/Lipstick: I go in with Baby Lips to moisturize my lips and follow up with whatever lipstick I choose, usually a matte, nude color. On days where I feel like doing just a little extra, I’ll wear a nice pink lip. I work in an office where people are dressed conservatively for the most part (except Fridays) so I don’t want my lips to be too much of a distraction.

If I have time:

I’ll do my brows. It’s rare that I DO have time but if I do, I’ll shape them with a brown eyebrow pencil and carve them out with my LA Girl Pro Concealer.

I’ll add blush. Blush just ties everything together, but for some reason I always forget to put it on! I’m actually not picky with blush or bronzer, but I’m partial to the Milani Baked Blushes.

That’s it! 10 minutes and I’m running out the door to make it to work in time. Do you have a makeup routine? Let me know in the comments section, maybe we can trade tips!
