My eyebrows have come a long way from when I first started to fill them in years ago. In the beginning, I would use a cheap old dark brown eyebrow pencil that I would get from the beauty supply store. Back then, I would just fill them in with the pencil and to be honest my brows would come out super harsh. My brows have evolved and so have the products. You can definitely say that I hopped on the Anastasia Beverly Hills band wagon, but hey it is what it is. So let’s get this Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow review going alright.
So the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow is a cream based product and it comes in a little jar. The product is available in a variety of shades ranging from blonde to granite which is the darkest shade so there is an immense amount of variety when it comes to shade selection.
The product is advertised as being fast drying, smudge proof, and water proof so girl you can go swimming and still keep those brows on fleek! You can expect to spend about $18 and some change to buy this product and most major retailers sell it, I grabbed mine from a Macy’s.
What do I think
The price is the main reason I took my time purchasing this product. I just couldn’t wrap my mind around the idea that I was going to spend $18 on an eyebrow pomade. That seemed excessive to me especially when I was buying my eyebrow pencils for $1 a pop at the time.
After using the pomade I can honestly say the $18 is worth it. For one, a little really does go a long way. I have had my pomade for months now and I have barely made a dent in it, so this puppy will be around for some time.
I am also very pleased with the effectiveness and the look the product creates. I use the shade chocolate and I find that it is the perfect shade of brown for my skin tone and my brows. It’s not shiny or and it blends very well. The pomade is also build able, so when I am going for a more understated relaxed look, I can apply the product lightly just to fill in my brows. On the other hand when I am going out or being photographed I can go heavier with my application to achieve a sculpted full brow that works perfectly with my makeup looks.
The pomade also sets your brows into place so when you apply it and allow it to dry, your brow hairs will pretty much be set and smudge proof for the rest of the day or night.
So I can officially say that I am an Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow lover you all. This product does what it says it is going to do and it does it well, plus you get a huge bang for your buck and that’s always a win for me.
