In my previous post, I talked about the meet up I had at my local Sally’s with (@NatuallyEJHalo), where e talked about both the Beautiful Textures and the African Pride Dream Kids lines. We were gifted HUGE boxes filled with Beautiful Textures and African Pride Dream Kids products. I talked about all of the Beautiful Textures products I received and gave brief reviews on them. In this post, I will be talking about the African Pride Dream Kids products I received!

I have to admit, I enjoyed the African Pride Dream Kids line more than the Beautiful Textures line. I feel like it was a better fit for my hair type, where Beautiful Textures may be better for finer hair or hair with a looser curls patterns.

Detangling Shampoo Olive Miracle: I love this. Not only does it make my hair easier to detangle, but it make my curls pop again after they’ve been dry and thirsty. It cleans my hair without stripping it of all it’s natural oils.

Leave-In Conditioner Olive Miracle: I’ve used this once and I enjoyed it. I’ve been playing with the idea of using it as a styler and twisting my hair with it. It seems thick enough and seems to have enough hold. If you’re in the Type 4 family like I am, this product is a great moisturizer under a styling gel for a wash-and-go. If your curls are already pretty much defined, you could style your wash-and-gos with this alone.

Quick Bounce Pudding: I haven’t used this yet, but it smells so good and the first ingredient is water. I want to twist my hair with it but I’m skeptical because it almost seems to thin for my thick hair. The packaging is so pretty and the product smells so good (and it’s pink!) I may have to give it a try.

Smooth Edges: This stuff is the bomb! It’s not an edge control per se, but it smooths your hair down for puffs and up-dos. It doesn’t leave any residue either. I suppose you could use it for your baby hairs, and I know this would work wonders on a little girl’s ponytails.

Detangling Moisturizing Conditioner: I haven’t used this yet because I didn’t even realize I had it! I’m so excited to have a rinse out conditioner because I haven’t had one in a long time. I love the shampoo so I hope I feel the same way about this product.

Moisture De-tangler: I haven’t used this yet, but I want to use everything in order (the shampoo, the conditioner, the leave-in, the detangler, the styler and the smooth edges) to see how my hair likes it. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a spray detangler.

Soothing Braid Spray: I haven’t used this because I don’t have braids. I plan on giving it to my little cousin because she has box braids with her real hair, and I know her scalp itches because of it (the one thing I hate is an itchy scalp! Ugh!)

Texture Manageability System: It’s basically the same product from the Beautiful Textures line, but for little girls. I don’t plan on using this, so is anyone interested in a giveaway for it?

Although I’m not the target demographic for this line, I enjoy the packaging and the pink product, so I’m sure little girls will too! Have you used this on yourself or your daughter? Let me know in the comment section!
